GETTING YOUR KITTEN

Kittens will be ready to go to their forever homes no sooner than 12 weeks of age. Why so late, you ask?
Contrary to popular belief, kittens are not recommended to leave their mothers before 12 weeks of age.  The mother teaches kittens important lessons needed to be well socialized before going to their new homes. All TICA and CFA compliant breeders will not release kittens before 12 weeks of age.
Siberian Forest cats mature slowly, so your kitten will be still in the "kitten phase" long after you receive him/her.  They will also receive two rounds of vaccinations, and be microchipped, and dewormed.
At the appointed time, you can get your kitten.  At this time, Gem Siberian does not offer to ship your kitten, but you are welcome to fly or drive to pick up your kitten.  We will be willing to meet you within 100 miles of Chubbuck Idaho to transfer your kitten.  You will not receive your kitten until you have paid in full.
